Things Dem's and Liberals should take note of

Although I am a Democrat and a moderate liberal, I think it is also important to be objective in discussing the current state of the US economy. The current economic mess is not purely the fault of one administration or economic policy, rather, the blame can fall on the Democrats as much as it does on the Republicans.

It is only in partisanship that America will fail. Thus, in light of Nancy Pelosi's vitriolic closing remarks at the initial vote of the 700 billion dollar bailout package, as well as Obama's use of the economic crisis for partisan political gain, I think it's important to remind my party where some of the blame lies.

It is only in recognizing the flaws in all of us that we will be able to recognize how to improve and unite as Americans. There's enough blame to go around, let us focus on how to solve the problem not on who is most to blame. Rational thought and constructive criticism will pull us through this mess much easier than focusing on the question of 'who dunnit'.
